A detailed analysis of the TURA data by chemical category, 1990-1997. 2000.

TURI Methods and Policy Report No. 20. This report summarizes the findings of an in-depth study of the 1990-1997 Massachusetts Toxics Use Reduction Act (TURA) data by chemical category. The TURA data was separated into several chemical categories of interest, each of which was analyzed for changes in use, byproduct, and releases. Each category was further analyzed by chemical to determine significant contributions to overall category progress. Detailed chemical category analysis provides information about progress with respect to specific areas of human health concern and presents an opportunity for more directed and improved TUR efforts.
