Champions of Toxics Use Reduction Awards

For more than 10 years, TURI has been recognizing community and industry organizations with the "Champions of Toxics Use Reduction" award at an annual Massachusetts State House ceremony. These Champions are making the Commonwealth a safer place to live and work. Legislators personally congratulate companies, community organizations, and individuals for promoting safer alternatives and more efficient processes.

Representatives of Groundwork Lawrence
Groundwork Lawrence educated 300 community members, including youths, on toxics found in household cleaners and personal care products, conducted workshops and distributed materials about safer products.

Brazilian's Women's Group in Allston
