Tuesday September 24 2013 - Aerospace/Defense Industry- Supply Chain Conference: Chemicals of Concern and Safer Alternatives

This conference is for representatives from across the aerospace/defense industry supply chain, from OEMs to solution formulators to metal finishers, and will deliver useful information about challenges facing the industry and emerging solutions.  Download our agenda for more detail about the speakers and topics in our morning and afternoon sessions.

Our morning session will feature Chris Robertson, Head of Regulatory Compliance at ERA Technology. Chris will discuss the specific impact of REACH on the aerospace and defense industry supply chain.

Our keynote speaker, Andrew Rak, leads his firms efforts to support the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Installations & Environment) Emerging Contaminants Program.Mr. Rak will discuss initiatives at the Department of Defense to promote adoption of safer chemicals for defense applications and the challenges associated with adequate availability of alternatives.

Join us on September 24, 2013, from 8:30 to 5:00, at the Sturbridge Host Hotel & Conference Center in Sturbridge, MA. A sponsored networking reception will occur immediately following the conference.

Cost for the day is $200 for professionals employed at companies that file under TURA and $250 for all others. Certified TUR Planners can receive 6 credits, which may be submitted to DEP for recertification. You may attend either the morning or afternoon session alone, including lunch, for $125 (3 credits for TUR Planners).

Seating is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first come/first served basis.  Attendance will be tracked to ensure that planners receive a certificate of completion for sessions attendees.  Make checks out to UMass Lowell.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be received by September 17, 2013.
