David Williams (Chair)
Dave Williams began studying environmental issues 32 years ago and holds degrees/certificates in environmental science, legal studies, management and environmental affairs.
During the 1990s, Mr. Williams help develop and directed an Associate in Environmental Science Program at Quincy College, Quincy Massachusetts and then was Executive Director of the Center for Technology and Health at Quincy College for two years before moving to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in 2000.
Currently Mr. Williams is a Senior Environmental Analyst for the Bureau of Environmental Health, Community Sanitation Program. Prior to that, he was the lead analyst for MDPH on Cape Cod monitoring exposure opportunities to the extensive groundwater contamination that occurred from historical activities at the Massachusetts Military Reservation.
Since 1995, Mr. Williams has served as a gubnatorial appointee to the Toxic Use Reduction Science Advisory Board where he currently serves as chair.
Dave continues to teach, including the Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs course at Curry College where he has been a Lecturer in Science since 1997. He is a single parent to a nine year old and resides in Stoughton.
