Kenneth S. Weinberg, Ph.D. is the President and Principal Consultant of Safdoc Systems, LLC, located in Stoughton, MA. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Boston University in 1969, a Master of Science degree in Environmental Health and Radiation Health Physics from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health in 1970, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Pathology from Boston University’s Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences in 1979. He has worked as an independent consultant specializing in environmental health, safety and toxicology since 2000. In addition, he is a Toxics Use Reduction Planner with a general certification.
Dr. Weinberg has held positions as the Director of Safety at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, as an Industrial Hygienist at the Brockton, West Roxbury Veterans Administration Hospital, and as the Laboratory director of a private environmental laboratory. Prior to holding these positions, he held post doctoral research positions at the Dana Farber Cancer Research Institute in Boston, and at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
Dr. Weinberg has published several scientific papers dealing with pulmonary injury and disease, He has also written several books dealing with healthcare safety and indoor air quality.
