Lemon Juice/oil Chemical name:
Inhalation: No adverse effects expected under normal conditions of use.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting, call physician immediately (lemon oil)
Skin Contact: Wash exposed skin areas with soap and water. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse.
Eye Contact: Flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical aid if irritation persists.
Chronic Exposure: No data

What does this mean?

Lemon juice is an acidic product that can cause irritation of skin and eyes if exposed, and can result in gastrointestinal tract irritation if significant amounts are ingested. Avoid getting lemon juice or oils on skin or in eyes. If exposure occurs, flush immediately with large quantities of water for 15 minutes.
