Student Profile 9
Jimmy Tell Chemical Engineering Senior Dracut, MA (originally from Lowell) Jimmy_Tell@student.uml.edu
Semesters at TURI Lab: 2
Background:
Projects worked on: Azeotrope Testing/Vapor Degreasing
Favorite part of working at TURI: One of the perks with being a volunteer is that you get to come and go as you please. In addition the hours are reasonable and you get to work with great staffs/students.
Past jobs: I have worked at numerous jobs here and there. A majority of them were unrelated to the field I am currently in. TURI was the first position pertaining anything close to the chemical engineering field. Most of my past jobs dealt with sales/customer service. I am also currently volunteering at the Unit Operations Lab working with Ken, a teaching assistant/faculty performing updates on PID s (proportional-integral derivative controllers) present in the lab.
