Apply for a Community Grant
Proposals due June 28, 2013
The Toxics Use Reduction Institute is pleased to invite proposals from community organizations, municipal departments, small businesses, trade associations, and regional and state-wide organizations or collaborative groups for support under our Community Grant Program.
You have the opportunity to create and promote healthier communities throughout the Commonwealth by initiating projects that raise awareness and educate people about safer alternatives to toxic chemicals. We are seeking proposals that reach people at a regional or state-wide level. However, we also welcome proposals for projects that will effect change on a more local level.
State-wide or regional projects funded up to $20,000. Local projects will be funded up to $10,000. Download the application.
Please sign up for our electronic mailings to receive the request for proposals each year. Also follow us on Facebook to receive updates.
What TURI Funds
The Toxics Use Reduction Institute awards grants to community organizations, municipal departments and small businesses to encourage people to switch to safer alternatives or methods. We fund trainings, workshops, material development and the purchase of safer products.
