Business Grants

TURI's Industry Incentive Grant and Cleaner Technology Demonstration Site programs provide funding, technical support, and technology dissemination for industries implementing innovative toxics use reduction technologies. These programs feature events where visitors can see technologies up close, learn about associated management methods, and discover new strategies to further reduce the use of toxic chemicals at other facilities.

Grants Available for Businesses:

1. Large-Scale Process Modification/Modernization (Up to $15,000)

For Toxics Use Reduction (TUR) projects that are ready to be implemented and will result in a demonstrable reductions in the use of toxic chemicals. Grantees hold two related demonstration events and provide data for a written case study of the project and its impact.

2. Small-Scale Equipment Upgrade (Up to $3,000)

For smaller, more immediate TUR equipment purchases. Grantees provide data and project summary for a case study fact sheet.

Boiler Upgrade at Rohm & Haas

3. Cleaner Technology Demonstration Sites (Up to $4,000)

For already implemented TUR or resource conservation projects. Grantees conduct two on-site demonstrations of the projects, and provide data associated with the TUR or RC project to document achievements and savings.
