What TURI Funds
The Toxics Use Reduction Institute awards grants to community organizations, municipal departments and small businesses to encourage people to switch to safer alternatives or methods. We fund trainings, workshops, material development and the purchase of safer products.
Be Inspired
Find out what this year's grantees are doing to make the Commonwealth a safer place to live and work. Grant recipients include the Brazilian Women's Group, Montachusett Opportunity Council, Norfolk County 7 and the Pioneer Valley Commission. Read the press release for more details about the projects.
Visit our Library of Past Projects page to read about all TURI-funded projects that have made a difference to public health and the environment in Massachusetts. We encourage grant recipients to replicate and build upon past projects. So check out the many projects about green cleaning, organic lawn care and more to develop your ideas for funding.
