Thanks to TURI's commitment to getting non-toxic cleaners in the hands of people, we were able to use grant funds to give 650 people non-toxic cleaners to take home and try. We consider this a very effective component of our work.

What TURI Funds

The Toxics Use Reduction Institute awards grants to community organizations, municipal departments and small businesses to encourage people to switch to safer alternatives or methods. We fund trainings, workshops, material development and the purchase of safer products.

Be Inspired

Grant recipients include the Brazilian Women's Group, Montachusett Opportunity Council, Norfolk County 7 and the Pioneer Valley Commission. Read the press release for more details about the projects.

Visit our Library of Past Projects page to read about all TURI-funded projects that have made a difference to public health and the environment in Massachusetts.
