Thanks to TURI's commitment to getting non-toxic cleaners in the hands of people, we were able to use grant funds to give 650 people non-toxic cleaners to take home and try. We conisider this a very effective component of our work.

Community Grants

The Toxics Use Reduction Institute awards grants to community organizations and municipal departments each year to encourage the public and small businesses to switch to safer products.

This year's grant recipients include the Brazilian Women's Group, Montachusett Opportunity Council, Norfolk County 7 and the Pioneer Valley Commission. Read the press release for more details about the projects.

What TURI Funds

With the support of grant funding, non-profit Massachusetts organizations have the opportunity to create and promote healthier communities by raising awareness and educating people about safer alternatives. TURI funds trainings, workshops, material development and the purchase of safer products.
