Effective TUR Planning for Lead and Lead Compounds

When the reporting thresholds were lowered for certain persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT) materials, many Massachusetts companies were required to report for the first time in 2002 or 2003 on their use of substances such as lead. Those same companies will also be required to complete a Toxics Use Reduction (TUR) Plan by July 1, 2004. This one-day workshop covers the essential basics of TUR Planning. It is intended for companies that intend to hire an outside, certified TUR Planner to complete and certify their plans, in order to help them understand the planning process and their on-going planning requirements. It is also appropriate for veteran TUR planners who wish to refresh their skills. This event will take place in Marlborough, MA.

Credits earned at this event may be used to apply to Department of Environmental Protection for TURP re-certification.
