Environmental Management System Auditing Courses (1-day)Auditing is an essential part of any effictive management system and plays a major role in achieving business improvement. The course covers the essential elements of an audit to prepare participants to conduct an internal audit of an EMS, or participate on an audit team. The following audit skills will be emphasized:

The course will incorporate several practical audit team exercises based on a case study of an actual manufacturing plant. The audit exercises will be challenging and appropriate to all students regardless of prior auditing experience. This course is designed to be suitable for all levels of experience. It will be especially useful for those with a quality or regualtory background, but have little experience in environmental management system auditing. This is a continuing education opportunityTUR Planners, and attendance will be worth 6 credits toward TUR Planner recertification with DEP.

This one-day course provides a "hands-on," practical application of the skills and principles learned in the classroom Audit Course (above) by auditing a real EMS.
