In 2005 a green
chemistry conference was held at UMass Dartmouth, and featured speakers from
the U.S. EPA, the American Chemical Society and industry leaders in green
chemistry. The conference presented information about national efforts to
promote green chemistry, and will provide technical sessions that showcase
applications of green chemistry in the textile, coating, plastic,
pharmaceutical and nanotechnology sectors.
