Event is sponsored by The Center for Hygiene and Health in Home and Community of Simmons College.The conference will discuss the benefits of cleaning and disinfection in homes, schools, daycare centers, sports facilities, and camps etc. to reduce the risk of infection acquisition/transmission and to aid in the prevention and control of allergy-causing molds. The conference will also address issues related to cleaning including antibiotic resistance, the Hygiene Hypothesis, limiting toxicity and on-going research into new solutions. The aim is to present new information and practical approaches.
