Thursday March 19 2009 - Resource Conservation Training Day 1

THE TOXICS USE REDUCTION INSTITUTE (TURI)

presents a Resource Conservation Planning Continuing Education Opportunity

March 19, 2009

Resource Conservation Planning Basics - Day One: Applying TUR Methods to Resource Conservation Planning

This day-long workshop will familiarize planners with the objectives, methods and requirements of Resource Conservation (RC) Planning options available under the new 2006 TURA Amendments. This course will fulfill six of the 12 credits anticipated to be required in order to certify a RC Plan. The other 6 credits may be in any asset area of resource conservation. TURI and OTA will be offering additional technical sessions on the various asset area options, e.g., energy conservation, throughout the year. Planners who are interested in certifying RC plans, should seriously consider attending this training. This course is a very specific CE area for RC planning, and while this won't be the only opportunity, there will likely only be a few.
