Are you prepared for RoHS? Are your customers starting to request RoHS-compliant components? The deadline for the Restriction of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive is July 1, 2006, just a few months away.
The RoHS directive mandates that electrical and electronic products sold within the European Union (EU) shall contain restrictive levels of the following substances:
