TURI Peer Mentoring Work Groups support implementation and improvement of an EMS. If you are implementing an EMS, consider joining us. These structured meetings for Massachusetts companies offer tangible ideas and strategies, successes and challenges.

Join the 2008 EMS Work Group!
Participation in the Work Group will be valuable to facilities beginning a TURA EMS project or improving an existing system. Group discussions are dynamic, thoughtâprovoking and highly informative. The Work Group is limited to ten participating companies though we encourage you to consider sending your entire EMS team. Meetings will occur approximately six times over the course of the first half of 2008, with the first meeting scheduled for Thursday January 31, from 9:00 to 1:00.

Each meeting will include TURA EMS training as well as a presentation of host activities towards modifying its EMS to conform with the TURA EMS. Work Group members discuss issues relating to their own implementation and modification efforts, and will be asked to do homework between meetings to further investigate the TURA EMS standard.
