Green Building Wire & Cable Design Charrette - POSTPONED
To Wire and Cable Design Charrette Registrants:
Our apologies again for the postponement of the Design Charrette originally scheduled for next Tues. Oct. 23rd. As of today, we did not have enough representatives of architectural, engineering, and design disciplines to have a productive design charrette. Without strong A/E participation we could not deliver what we had promised, which were charrette groups involving all disciplines, exploring innovative design options for wire and cable in buildings. The objective is to explore design possibilities that provide more flexibility in the choice of materials, eliminating the need for highly flame retardant materials, while providing the same level of fire safety.
The steering committee is exploring other venues and possibilities which could generate more A/E participation, and we will get back to everyone on ideas for next steps in a couple of weeks. If you have thoughts, please feel free to contact me or Ken Soltys (ksoltys@purestrategies.com).
