TURI is a partner in the National Science Foundation Nanoscale Engineering and Science grant awarded to UMass Lowell, Northeastern University and the University of New Hampshire. Learn more about the Center for High-rate Nanomanufacturing here. As part of this collaborative process, TURI's staff researches the potential exposure to nanoparticles, and best practices for reducing that exposure, associated with the nanomanufacturing process.

In addition, TURI funds university researchers to investigate the use of nanoscale materials as potential replacements for toxic additives. Related research articles can be found here. Get more information on TURI's university research program here.
