DIY All Purpose Cleaners

Dissolve 4 tablespoons baking soda in 1 qt warm water

 

Formulation 1

Baking soda and water

Make a paste

Formulation 5

Vinegar and salt

Mix together into a paste

Formulation 2

Mix salt and water together with a little vinegar

Liquid castile soap (small amount) and baking soda/borax with lots of water

For floors, walls or counters

Formulation 3

Liquid castile soap (medium amount) and baking soda/borax

For sinks, cat boxes or anything that can be well rinsed

Formulation 4

3 tbsp vinegar, ½ tsp washing soda, ½ tsp vegetable based liquid soap (Murphy’s), 2cups hot water

Put in spray bottle or bucket. Apply and wipe clean

Formulation 6

2 tablespoons Borax, ¼ cup lemon juice, 2 cups hot water.

Combine in spray bottle

Formulation 7

Fill a spray bottle with ½ part vinegar and ½ part water. Add some lemon juice for scent

 

Formulation 8

Mix liquid soap with 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Add lemon juice and water

 

Formulation 9

1/2 cup baking soda and 1 cup vinegar per gallon of water. Optional additions, add a dash of castile soap

Add a drop or two of essential oils such as lavender for a smell you prefer
