File Synopsis: Exposure to arsenic for most people is through drinking water, breathing air and eating food. Elevated exposure levels have been reported for residents living near metal smelters or plywood burning facilities. Arsenic consumption has increased in the US due to its use as industrial chemicals, wood preservatives, electronics and chemical chemicals.
