TURA Program Assessment

TURI Methods and Policy Report No. 26. In 2008 the Toxics Use Reduction Institute (TURI) undertook an assessment of the TURA program. This report presents the findings of this assessment. The assessment presents a review of TURA program activities; a review of prior studies of the TURA program; the results of an online survey and telephone interviews with Massachusetts companies and consultants conducted by the consulting firm Abt Associates; and results from a survey and interviews conducted with organizations served by the Institute’s Community program.

Asthma-Related Chemicals in Massachusetts: an Analysis of Toxics Use Reduction Data. 2009

TURI Matching Grants Program

The Matching Grants Program was initiated in FY93 to facilitate the development and use of innovative techniques that reduce the use of toxic chemicals or the generation of toxic byproducts in Massachusetts businesses.
