Murphy's Oil Soap

Chemical names: Potassium soap of vegetable oil, sodium EDTA, Propylene glycol, Potassium hydroxide

Inhalation:

May cause irritation of the mucous membranes.
|
|
Ingestion:
|
Repeated overexposure may be harmful. Causes nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
|
|
Skin Contact:
|
May cause skin irritation on prolonged contact. However, skin irritation may occur with prolonged or excessive contact.
|
|
Eye Contact:
|
Direct exposure to large amounts may cause eye irritation, but no permanent eye injury is expected.

What does this mean?

|
Murhpy’s Oil Soap is a mild potassium soap of vegetable oil. Inhalation of fumes from use of the oil soap is not likely to cause an adverse effect. However you should avoid drinking it. Excessive exposure to skin or eye exposure could lead to irritation. Flush any exposed area with large quantities of water if irritation occurs.
