Rachel Massey is Senior Associate Director and Policy Program Manager at the Massachusetts Toxics Use Reduction Institute at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Her work includes policy development and program management in Massachusetts, as well as international projects. Her projects include analyzing the impacts of chemical policy changes on Massachusetts businesses and communities; conducting policy analyses for changes to the TURA list of reportable substances; applying the lessons of the TURA program to chemicals policy development nationally and internationally; and analyzing opportunities for improving information flow related to toxic chemicals in products. She is also involved in TURI’s work to reduce toxics at the community level. Rachel received a Master of Science in Environmental Change and Management from Oxford University and a Master of Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
