In an effort to provide TUR Planners with access to continuing education credit, the TURA Program has created a series of four 90-minute webinar sessions with a total of up to 12 credits awarded (past webinars took place on April 14).

Tools and Tips for Evaluating the Economic Feasibility of TUR Options
In this interactive session, Joe Sarkis, Professor of Management at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, will present tools and tips for evaluating the economic feasibility of implementing toxics use reduction techniques. Attendees will learn about basic accounting methods, more holistic evaluative approaches and ways to incorporate harder-to-quantify costs and benefits into your evaluation of the economic feasibility of TUR techniques.

Using Pharos to Evaluate Chemical and Material Options
Michel Dedeo from Healthy Building Network will demonstrate the chemical comparison tool Pharos. This previously subscription-based tool now has many functions freely available. Mr. Dedeo will demonstrate its application for chemicals of particular interest to Massachusetts manufacturers.

Fees:
The TURA Program has approved a reduced fee for these webinars: $25 per webinar attended. When you register, be sure to select the amount that matches the number of webinars you are registering for.
Conference webinar fees can be paid online using a credit card; scroll to the bottom of this email for links. Note that the registration link is separate from the payment links.

No cancellations or refunds are available for these webinars.

TUR Planner Credits:
MassDEP has approved these webinars for double credits. Each webinar is worth 3 TUR Planner continuing education credits. To earn the full 12 credits, participants must attend all four webinars.
To receive credit, you MUST register, attend and participate in the webinar(s), and you must reply to the follow-up survey you will receive once the webinar has ended. If you do not satisfy these criteria, MassDEP may not award you credit for that session.
