Companies with mature environmental management systems can wrap their toxics use reduction planning efforts into that system for a more efficient approach to reducing use of covered toxics. This two-day course is designed for TUR planners and EMS professionals who wish to certify TURA EMS plans and progress reports for their companies or clients in Massachusetts. Day One (Tuesday April 25, 2023) will be conducted online (Zoom) and will cover the elements of EMSs and TUR Plans, and the requirements for using a TURA EMS in lieu of traditional TUR planning.
Day Two (Thursday May 4, 2023) will be held at Umicore Electrical Materials in Attleboro. Terry McCormack, TURA EMS-certified TUR Planner will demonstrate how Umicore implements its TURA EMS.
