Info on your major and what it focuses on?

My major focuses on exploring the different disciplines of chemistry such as organic, physical, analytical

and inorganic.

What you have learned so far at TURI Lab?

So far, I’ve learned the effect of harmful chemicals on public health and the environment, how to evaluate the use of chemicals through hazard assessment programs, I’ve learned about Green Chemistry, I’ve learned about Formulation chemistry and creating new solvents with Hansen Solubility Parameters in Practice, I’ve learned about Alternatives Assessment. Recently received the “Most Valuable Pollution Prevention Student of the Year Award” from the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable.

What are your plans for after graduation?

Going on to a Master’s degree and/or a Doctoral degree.
