I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2010 with a BS in Environmental Science and minor in Afro-American Studies. At UMass Amherst, I was involved with multicultural clubs and presided over two professional organizations Students Against Lack of Education (S.A.L.E.) and National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) dealing with educationally and socially disadvantaged minorities domestically and abroad. My coursework at UMass Amherst includes Environmental Toxicology, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), Environmental Site Assessment, and Plant Biology.

Projects worked on: PCE substitution, product cleaning efficiency, etc
Favorite part of working at TURI: Variation in projects and understanding cleaner production
Past jobs: I worked for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) from 2008 to 2011. Since May 2012, I have been working for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) under the US Department of Defense.
