Merrimack Ales in Lowell Finds Safer Ways to Clean and Sanitize

With the help of a TURI Small Business grant, Merrimack Ales in Lowell evaluated safer alternatives to caustic sodium hydroxide. After testing various methods and solutions, the small business now uses brewers wash at a lower temperature and volume to clean and uses NADCC tablets to sanitize. Owner Adam Pearson demonstrates the process in the video above.
