Minutes from the January 7th meeting were approved with changes (p-toluidine was voted to retain).

Continue Review of Non-Reported CERCLA-only chemicals
Four members (2 of which are absent) returned votes for the current set of chemicals,. The group agreed to go through the chemicals in order and use the tallied votes as a starting point.

Amines
The first group of chemicals to review was amines. The votes for the amine group were reviewed. There was at least one vote (sent in or present) to retain each one of these chemicals. 2,4,5-T should be in pesticide group. There was a unanimous vote to retain all the chemicals in the amine group.

Benzene-related compounds
The next group of chemicals to review was benzene related compounds. There were some questions on the dodecylbenzene sulfonates (3). These chemicals need to be reviewed compared to the dodecylbenzenes that were already reviewed. There was a unanimous vote to retain all other chemicals in the benzene group.

Ammonium compounds
The next group of chemicals reviewed was ammonium compounds. Ammonium vanadate should be part of vanadium compounds. There was a motion to retain ammonium carbamate, ammonium sulfide, ammonium picrate, ammonium benzoate, and ammonium carbonate. The motion passed unanimously

Acetates
The next group of chemicals reviewed was acetates. Uranyl acetate is a uranium compound. There was a unanimous vote to retain it. No action was taken on ammonium acetate. More information is needed on the amyl and butyl acetates. Some are suspected neurotoxins and some are not. Some amyl and butyl acetates were reviewed as part of the reported CERCLA chemical group. The information for the amyl and butyl acetates should all be reviewed together.

Aldehydes
The next group of chemicals reviewed was aldehydes. There were only two chemicals in this group and all the pre-votes were unanimous to retain. There was a unanimous vote to retain these two chemicals.

Esters
The next group of chemicals reviewed was esters. The 2,4-D and 2,4,5-T esters ( 2 CAS each) should be moved to pesticides. There was a unanimous vote to retain all chemicals in the esters category (including 2,4-D and 2,4,5-T).

Phenols
The last group of chemicals reviewed was phenols. There were 7 chemicals in this group and all had at least two pre-votes for retention. There was a unanimous vote to retain the phenols.
