Green Building Education in Lowell

The Lowell Green Building Commission (GBC) conducted a TURI Tier I project with a green building outreach focus. Presentations were made to seven neighborhood groups to raise awareness of toxics in the home and in building materials. The Lowell GBC built on the Somerville project funded through TURI several years ago, and developed informational materials, a poster, and the neighborhood group presentations. The GBC is working to increase awareness among residents and contractors in the Lowell area of green building practices.
