Join us for a site visit at Pfizer’s Andover Facility on Tuesday, June 23rd to see how they are pursuing toxics use reduction and resource conservation in their remarkable biotech facility.
This event features a presentation by Pfizer’s TUR Planner Andy Jones and Kerry Beres, followed by a tour of Pfizer’s remarkable production facilities. Attendees will have a rare opportunity to see resource conservation and sustainability in action at laboratory, pilot, and large production scales.

- Andy Jones, Principal EHS Engineer and Kerry Beres, Environmental Engineer, will share how Pfizer embeds TUR thinking into new projects from the ground up, and what it looks like to navigate stringent external requirements while still meeting TURA obligations and broader business goals. Along the way, they’ll reflect on the lessons learned from building a strong EHS and sustainability culture across teams.

- Andy and Kerry will lead a tour to see some of the TUR and RC projects at work, including a look at laboratory scale and large-scale production units, and projects including combined heat and power, solid waste projects, and water intake and treatment.
