Source Reduction Strategies for Industrial Waste Webinar

Join this 2-hour Resource Conservation (RC) webinar focused on reducing materials that contribute to solid waste, with a special emphasis on plastics and plastic packaging in manufacturing processes.

Led by the U.S. Plastics Pact, this interactive session will highlight upstream, source-reduction strategies and real-world case studies across primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging. Participants will learn how to conduct a plastics audit, evaluate material tradeoffs, and navigate challenges such as recycling limitations, recycled content screening, and chemicals of concern. The session includes facilitated breakout discussions to help you identify practical reduction opportunities in your own facility. 

This webinar is part of the initial requirements for those wanting to be certified as Resource Conservation (RC) Planners by MassDEP. Active planners may earn up to 4 CEUs towards recertification.
