Discover resources to gain a more complete picture of the potential adverse impacts of various chemicals on human health and the environment.  Toxic chemicals can contribute to cancer, asthma, neurological disease, birth defects, and other health problems. They can also be hazardous to the environment.

Often, more data is available than provided on a typical product Safety Data Sheet or “SDS”. Discovering and understanding the hazards associated with products can, however, be difficult.

This free online course covers the basics of toxicology and chemical hazards, the strengths and limitations of the SDS, and tools to understand chemical hazards and find safer options. This course is open to the general public and suitable for anyone, including students, industry professionals, academic researchers, TUR planners.
