Resource Conservation Planning Course

Learn how to develop a resource conservation plan for your facility! Resource conservation plans help facilities reduce their consumption of water, energy, materials contributing to solid waste, or toxic chemicals. In this course you will learn how to analyze your current uses of these natural assets, hone ideas for efficiency, and create a plan for use reduction.
TURI offers the online RC planning course during even-numbered years. The course consists of six hours (given over two days) of general resource conservation training, and then two hours each on the natural assets of: water, energy, and materials contributing to solid waste.

For TURA filers and MA TUR planners:
The 2006 amendments to TURA enabled eligible companies to complete resource conservation plans in lieu of TUR plans, every other planning year. This course provides the initial training for TUR planners who wish to become certified for TURA RC planning. RC planners are required to apply for initial certification and maintain continuing education credits.
