Continuing Education

Once certified, Toxics Use Reduction Planners are required to accumulate sufficient continuing education credits to demonstrate current knowledge of technical and managerial tools and innovations for reducing the use of toxics.

Join us for the Spring Toxics Use Reduction conference - April 12, 2023; Marlborough, MA

TURI presents Continuing Education Conferences in the spring (typically mid-April) and fall (typically in early November) of each year, providing ample opportunity for Planners to obtain appropriate credits. The content of these day-long conferences vary from event to event, presenting in-depth training on topics related to safer alternatives to toxic substances, pollution prevention, resource conservation, chemicals policy, and toxicology.

With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic TURI began offering conferences virtually. Starting in 2022 we now offer in-person conferences in the springtime and virtual conferences in the autumn.

If you have topic ideas for future conferences, or have questions about TURI’s training events, please contact Pam Eliason.
